a. How can I reserve the villa or make a booking? There are several ways, you can call, e-mail or use the pay now facility on the website to secure your dates (Paypal).
b. What do I need to bring with me to the villa? The villa has been furnished to a high standard to ensure that you have a wonderful holiday. The following amenities are provided as standard: Air conditioning, cable TV's in all rooms, cordless telephones, washer, dryer, fully equipped kitchen, bedlinen, towels including pool towels, soap, hairdryers, selection of cleaning materials, iron, ironing board and toilet paper. The only things not supplied are food and wi-fi enabled devices such as iPod/iPad and Laptops.
c. What is the check-in and check-out time? The property is available from 4.00pm on your arrival date and the property must be vacated by 10.00am on your departure day to allow the cleaning of the property in readiness for the next guests. Early check-in and late check-outs can be arranged prior to the commencement of your stay for an additional cost and based on the availability of the dates.
d. When do I pay for the villa? The initial booking deposit is requested when you book the villa to secure your dates. The final balance payment is due approximately 8 weeks prior to your arrival date and the refundable security deposit is due approximately 4 weeks prior to your arrival date. A schedule of payments will be sent with all booking paperwork.
e. What is the cancellation policy? The cancellation policy is listed in the Terms and Conditions.
f. What is the security deposit? We appreciate that accidents do happen and the security deposit should cover any accidental or unintentional damage up to £200. Any damages over and above £200 will be recovered from the guest. Guests will be informed of any additional costs that need to be recovered. Full details can be found in Terms and Conditions.
g. Is the property cleaned during our stay? The villa is cleaned prior to your stay and after your stay. The property is rented to the guest on a self-catering basis. There is a dishwasher, washer, dryer, mop, brush, vacuum, dustpan and brush for maintaining property cleanliness during your stay. A mid clean stay can be arranged for an additional fee during the booking process.
h. How many people are allowed to stay in the property? The maximum occupancy for the villa is 8 persons for which it is licensed with the relevant authorities. By Florida State Law, occupancy must not exceed the capacity that is listed on the licence on display in the villa. Maximum occupancy includes infants and children.
i. How will I receive my confirmation and arrival instructions? When you book the villa you will receive all the booking paperwork via e-mail which will require you to print off, sign and a copy to be returned to the address listed in the paperwork with the initial booking deposit. You wil receive confirmation when the second payment is due and been received and shorly before your departure date (up to 2 weeks prior) you will receive the pre-arrival guest information pack which contains directions and other stuff. The access code for the villa will be sent a few days prior to your arrival. j. Should I have the pool heated? Pool heat is available on request all year round. However, during the hot summer months it is not necessary to heat the pool. We do suggest that you consider heating the pool between October and May. The pool heat is preset to a temperature that is considered safe and efficient for the equipment and cannot be changed. Please note that electric pool heaters may not provide adequate heating if the air temperature drops below 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Electric heating pumps do not operate effectively below this temperature, and failure of such devices to heat the pool is outside of our control. Every provision is made to ensure that the pool is heated as specified, weather conditions can affect the temperature of the pool.
k. How close is the villa to Disney and other Theme Parks? The villa is located 8 miles from Disney main gate. Travel time will be dependent on both the season and time of day. We have completed the journey from 10 minutes up to 20 minutes. Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure is approximately 30-40 minutes away. Seaworld is around 30 minutes away from the villa.
l. Are there shops and restaurants nearby? There is a 24 hour Walmart located at Cagan's Crossings which is approximately a 5 minute journey from the villa on US27 North. A Publix supermarket is located approximately a 5 minute journey from the villa on US192. There are a number of eateries located on both US192 and US27 within 10 minutes of the villa as well as Supermarkets, drug stores/chemists and restaurants close by.
m. Are there golf courses nearby? There are a range of golf courses in Central Florida. The nearest Golf Course is Polo Park East which is within walking distance of the villa.
n. Is the property non-smoking? For the safety and comfort of all guests, the property is a non-smoking area. The property is licensed under Polk County and the State of Florida as a non-smoking building and compliance is mandatory. Failure to comply with the non-smoking policy will result in the forfeit of the security deposit; any additional cleaning costs will be recovered from the guest, who could then be asked to vacate the property without a refund of the rental costs.
o. What are the closest airports to the villa? Orlando International Airport is the closest to the villa at approximately 30 minutes. Sanford Airport is further away approximately 40-50 minutes.
p. Do I need an Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA)? International travellers who are seeking travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) must apply for an ESTA which will last for 2 years from the date of application. There is an administrative fee to be paid for each ESTA ($14) and the application can be filled out online within minutes.
